Project Overview: Plumbing Website Rebuild in WordPress

Precise Services’ original website, built years ago using WP Bakery and a templated layout, had become outdated in both design and performance. While it had delivered results early on, ongoing SEO and site improvements had fallen by the wayside. The client wanted a full rebuild: a site that felt modern, loaded fast, and supported strong SEO and lead generation. As one of Adelaide’s top plumbing and electrical service providers—with expanded offerings like bathroom renovations, drain relining, and handyman services—Precise needed a site that matched their scale, customer-first values, and drive for innovation.

The Solution

My role was to deliver a high-performance rebuild using Bricks Builder and Core Framework. This stack let me significantly reduce CSS bundle sizes and output clean, minimal HTML, improving both speed and maintainability. A faster, modern multi-step lead form replaced the old jQuery-based version. Given the site’s scale—over 200 pages and a vast range of services—we componentised as much as possible. A major challenge was handling over 200 unique icons custom-made for Precise. I worked closely with their in-house marketing team and an external SEO agency to create a large number of landing pages tailored to local areas and service keywords.

The Results

The outcome exceeded expectations. The homepage now loads in under 300ms, even with custom background videos—an impressive improvement in performance. Core Web Vitals scores improved site-wide, thanks to the optimised codebase and streamlined design. The new site positions Precise for continued growth and stronger SEO performance. Most importantly, the client is thrilled with the result: a faster, smarter, and more effective platform that reflects their leadership in the service industry.
